Goitseone Koketso's Story I learnt about coding from social media (tiktok) and most females would attest to it having a great impact in their lives and basically increasing their knowledge not only in tech but also opening new doors for career opportunities. This would be my first time in coding and as i did research on it, it seemed challenging yet fun and interesting of which is something i would love to try. My interest of it is also inspired by the fact that i love trying new things,empowering myself, and i love challenges as they motivate me to do more and they allow me to reach the best of my capabilities.

Coding can definitely be a life-saver and a life-changer as i have goals that i would like to achieve such as expanding my personal skills , yet also to improve skills that would be a great contribution to any organisation/workplace i will be within and would also increase my career opportunities. I would also love to venture into a new career path , I am a person that loves creativity and always challenge myself to be the greatest. I believe that coding can assist with improving my creativity skills and enhance my ability to be analytical and strategic. It will also provide a platform for me to broaden knowledge on technology and data (the world at large) by improving my logical skills.

- I love playing tennis - Researching on anything i am curious on - Trying new activities like hiking, zip lining, basically going on an adventure and exploring different environments.

Goitseone Koketso has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
