Halimatu's Story My fascination with coding began when I had the honor of working for a non-profit organization that taught computer literacy and coding to young students. I was able to see firsthand the transforming power of technology education as these bright young minds used coding to create, develop, and find solutions to real-world issues. I became inspired to start my coding path when I understood the amazing chances and potential that coding might have for people and communities during this deep interaction.

I want to learn how to code with shecodes to improve my analytical skills as while as learn a new skills and express my creativity for new job opportunities. I'm driven to learn how to code because I have a strong love for solving problems and an insatiable curiosity about the digital world. The enormous creative possibilities that coding offers appeals to me as technology continues to change every aspect of our lives. The capacity to create and invent with code enables people to significantly influence society.

Halimatu's coding training

Halimatu has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
