Hang's Story I first knew coding when I saw a free course on Facebook in my country. I attended that 60-minute class about coding, and I was thinking: "Wow, it sounds amazing to me. Should I give it a try?" And I watched more and more contents on Youtube. At that moment, I ensured that I wanted to take a chance to learn a new thing that I had never tried. So now, I have my first paid course in Vietnamese. I have completed, but it turns out I need to do projects and learn more from instructors. So, I always want to learn from instructors to gain more helpful knowledge. I haven't done any projects yet. I hope one day I will have my first project.

🙋‍♀️ Hang's Motivation

The main factor that motivates me to learn coding is me and my family. I want to give myself a bright future and can provide a better life for my family using my skills and my experience through the programs. Besides, I love knowing more about coding and tech (IT). I can do more with the software by myself.

🤹‍♀️ Hang's Hobbies

I solve puzzles, read science articles, play games, analyze the science graph, and practice volleyball.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
