Hazeldin's Story I've always been drawn to problem-solving and creativity, and coding seemed like a perfect intersection of the two. I remember being fascinated by how technology works and the endless possibilities it offers. As I started exploring more about coding, I became captivated by its ability to create something tangible from abstract ideas, whether it's a website, a mobile app, or even a game. The idea of being able to build something from scratch and bring my ideas to life through code was incredibly exciting to me. So, I started delving into coding tutorials, online courses, and experimenting with different programming languages to see what resonated with me the most.

Learning to code with SheCodes is appealing because it provides a supportive environment for women to learn together. Being part of a community of women who are also learning to code feels encouraging and empowering. SheCodes offers a safe space where I can ask questions freely and feel supported in my learning journey. Plus, by gaining coding skills through SheCodes, I'm not only adding to my skillset but also contributing to the broader goal of increasing gender diversity in the tech industry.

I enjoy attending tech webinars and events too! It's a great way to stay updated on the latest trends and network with like-minded individuals. Besides that, I also like to unwind by reading comics and graphic novels. They offer a nice escape into fantastical worlds and often have intriguing storylines. Additionally, I find relaxation in trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Exploring different hobbies helps me stay balanced and inspired.

Hazeldin's coding training

Hazeldin has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
