Hedieh's Story one of my friends studied programming and showed a website she had designed to me and that was the very first time I became mesmerized by the magic these little codes can do. So I looked it up and surf the net here and there to gather some information to see if there is any online platform for learning coding for free because I live in a very small city and you cannot find professional or equipped classes for coding. So that website actually sparked a small flame in me. Besides I really wanted to step into this challenging way. The spirit of solving big problems on one side, and having the ability to create outstanding projects on the other hand truly boosted my interest and confidence to start this journey. It may seem funny but there is an ineffable feeling when you can create your own universe and instruct it to act in the ways that I deemed fit. I can come up with an idea, and shape that idea into something real. It is somehow euphoric, right?

🙋‍♀️ Hedieh's Motivation

Well the world of coding has always been a mystery to me. I am a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) graduate student and I intend to continue my study for M.A. As a teacher, in my humble opinion, having the knowledge of coding is one of the necessities. Creating my own website as a platform for teaching English to my future students has always been a dream for me (though it seems a very small one). In addition due to high technology development and its great influence on education system in recent years, possessing the skill of coding can help me expanding my knowledge and skills in teaching and make a great use of it. I am truly interested in how programming is used for teaching and in language field. I do not have an actual experience in teaching and i have just finished my study and one of my great motivations is to equip myself with this skill for my future success and fulfilling the big dreams I have.

🤹‍♀️ Hedieh's Hobbies

Well as i mentioned my main interest is Language itself. So i do not restrict myself with just English and am always seeking new languages to learn. I can understand a little bit of Korean right now and I am currently learning Japanese. There is no language that I am not interested to learn. I also do sports. My one and only is badminton and I have been playing it for 6-7 month. It is like a therapy and such a challenging sport, tackling both you body and mind. Also I literally live with music. I am fond of music deeply and listen to various genres. Books are one of the inseparable parts of my life as well. I enjoy reading fantasy and mystery plots. Watching movies and series have been with me like forever. And I cannot forget cooking! If language was not around, I definitely chose to be Chef.
