Helga's Story Since 12 years, I've been writing Batch scripts on Windows to do funny things like interactive boxes, "encrypted" folders etc. based on YouTube videos. Then I've been trying to make games in Unity and Scratch. I had a natural temptation to pick apart all small electronics I got in my hands, including TV remotes. Since then, I've been visiting IT-focused schools, reading books regarding algorithms and Python. Alongside my friend, I've created a Telegram chat bot for moderation, which was my first optimization challenge. A bit later, I got into Linux and then I returned to writing bash scripts. So now I'm a bit obsessed with computers in general.

🙋‍♀️ Helga's Motivation

I want to become an employable programmer or QA Engineer, rent my own apartment and help out my parents. I also want my hobby to become influential and get funding for my Ukrainian shelter idea in the far future.

🤹‍♀️ Helga's Hobbies

Collecting old/abandoned CD discs, writing maps with cool free places to visit, playing rhythm games, messing with Linux.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
