Hila's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how many of the tools and apps I use every day are built with code. The idea that I could learn how to create websites, design features, or even solve problems through programming really excited me. I started exploring a few tutorials and instantly felt curious and challenged. The more I learned, the more I saw how coding is not just technical—it’s creative, logical, and empowering. That’s what drew me in and made me want to go further.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from my deep interest in technology and my desire to build creative solutions. I believe coding is a powerful tool that can help me bring ideas to life, solve real-world problems, and open up new career opportunities. SheCodes offers a supportive, women-focused learning environment that makes me feel confident and encouraged to grow in a field where women are still underrepresented. I want to gain skills that make me independent, capable, and ready to contribute to future tech innovations.

🤹‍♀️ Hila's Hobbies

Some of my hobbies include reading inspiring books, exploring new languages, drawing, and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy listening to music and going for walks to clear my mind. For fun, I love watching documentaries, learning new skills online, and sometimes just relaxing with a good cup of tea and a notebook to journal or plan creative ideas.

Hila's coding training

Hila has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
