Hsu's Story I was first introduced to coding by my friends who have been learning programming. In 2022, I started my coding journey by joining a Python Basic Course. At first, I joined that course just to know whether I have keen interest in coding or not and whether I should choose software engineering as my major for university. Now, I am so grateful that I enrolled that Python course as I found out that I really love coding and enjoy problem solving things. For me, I feel like coding allows me to create everything I want without any limitations. Also, as a person is introverted and loves to work myself, I find coding is something that suits me pretty well. Now, I would like to start over from scratch by enrolling this SheCodes workshop to boost my coding knowledge.

My biggest motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is that I would like to pursue what I am passionate and what I love learning. I believe joining SheCodes workshop would be the best choice for someone like me who wants to learn coding with the guidance of professional instructors and a supportive learning community. Also, I am sure that I will improve a lot in my problem-solving skills and gain a better understanding of programming languages throughout this SheCodes workshop. These are my main motivations which made me apply this workshop to start my coding journey with SheCodes.

🤹‍♀️ Hsu's Hobbies

I love listening to music. Whenever I feel happy or sad or tired, I always listen to music. Sometimes, I wish I could listen to music all day and enjoy that peaceful moment of my life. Gardening, cooking and working out are also the things I enjoy doing. I love taking care of the little plants that I grew. As gardening is also what my father loves to do, I enjoy doing it together with him. As I have mentioned above, I really enjoying cooking whatever I would like to eat and also working out 2 hours per a day which help me boost confidence and improve my health. Last but not least, I also love reading novels and comics, watching anime, K-dramas, ro-coms and enjoyable series whenever I have some spare time.

Hsu's coding training

Hsu has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
