IDARA's Story Curiosity and the drive to solve problems in the real world led me to become fascinated with coding. My curiosity was piqued by my first introduction to coding, as I became aware of its amazing capacity to innovate and shape our environment. I was fascinated by the capacity to translate concepts into concrete, useful programs. The logical reasoning and problem-solving elements of coding, together with the countless opportunities it presents for creativity and innovation, brought me joy. My interest in coding was stoked by opportunities to work on IT related projects as I dug deeper into the subject. In addition, seeing how technology affects different industries and how it helps solve global issues strengthened my resolve to learn more about coding. This inspired me to look into educational programs like SheCodes, where I'm excited to develop my skills even more and make a significant contribution to the technological industry. Essentially, my interest in coding has been motivated by a sincere desire to learn more about this dynamic and always changing field, as well as my commitment to its potential to bring about constructive change.

I have a strong belief in the revolutionary potential of technology, so I'm looking forward to learning to code with SheCodes. I first became interested in coding with a boot camp where I learned about the amazing possibilities that programming offers for realizing creative ideas. SheCodes' dedication to supporting women in the tech sector aligns with my goal of using technology to create a significant impact. The curriculum, mentorship, and community components of the SheCodes program really appeals to me. SheCodes stands out to me because of its commitment to diversity in the software industry and its focus on creating a supportive learning environment. I am excited to be a part of a community that fosters inclusivity and collaboration in addition to providing me with the technical know-how I need to succeed. To put it simply, I joined SheCodes because I really want to become an expert coder, make a meaningful contribution to the tech community, and use technology to drive positive change. I am thrilled to have the chance to start this educational adventure with She Codes and am sure that the skills and information I pick up along the way will help me realize my long-term goals of working in the IT sector.

IDARA's coding training

IDARA has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
