iradukunda's Story What attracted me to coding the most is a general curiosity about how it is done, how coders take on challenges and have to come up with solutions, the growing demand for technology professionals in Africa and Rwanda especially young women as this sector is mostly populated by men and my desire to build and create personal projects online that can benefit people in my community. I know I can do it too

🙋‍♀️ iradukunda's Motivation

I love that they took it upon themselves to include us Rwandan women, and mostly how their mission is first and foremost women-centered. I also value that they are free coding classes seeing as I wouldn't be able to access them were they expensive./

🤹‍♀️ iradukunda's Hobbies

I am an avid reader who enjoys learning about vast topics but especially about non-fiction, personal development, business, writing, and philosophy. I also enjoy jogging, going out with friends and/family, and learning about various topics online.

🎯

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
