Iryna's Story I became interested in coding when I was 14 years old when my best friend showed me a simple game that she created using Python, and I was immediately captivated by the idea that I can create something I want by programming. From that moment, I began to explore the field of programming on my own. I started reading articles, watching a lot of tutorials online, and teaching myself various programming languages. I found the process of problem-solving and creating new things to be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.

Since I was young, I have been fascinated by the world of programming and have always had a desire to learn how to code. Recently, my family and I experienced a great loss due to a war in Ukraine. We lost everything we had including my home. Now I'm trying to explore new opportunities to provide a better life for my family. Learning how to code is a skill that can open doors to new career opportunities and provide financial stability. By enrolling this course, I am taking the first step toward achieving my goal.

I love exploring architecture and urbanism. It's fascinating to see how different designs can impact the people and environment around them. I also like to cycle. It allows me to stay active and explore the world around me. It's a great way for me to clear my mind and recharge my batteries.

Iryna's coding training

Iryna has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
