Iryna's Story My husband works in IT, but in the networking field. I am pretty good with languages, I know five of them so far so I figured that coding could be a pretty easy thing for me to learn as well. At least that's the hope. I'm highly motivated because I want to build an amazing career. Being 27 years old, I've had different kinds of jobs- in recruitment, Procurement, HR, but haven't found anything that would give me a room to grow. Seems like in IT there's a lot of room for that.

🙋‍♀️ Iryna's Motivation

Hello there:) Learning how to code with SheCodes to me seems like a great chance to start a career in IT. As a staying at home mom of a 2y.o. I would see it as a blessing as in today's world, where you can't be 100% sure where you would end up being tomorrow (locally), remote jobs are giving a chance to build a career and provide for your family working from any place in the world. Learning to code specifically with SheCodes also gives a great chance to build a network with smart, enthusiastic and goal oriented women. I would absolutely love being a part of this community and with the chance given by SheCodes, it would be not really smart to miss this opportunity. So that's why I'm applying and keeping all of my fingers crossed :)

🤹‍♀️ Iryna's Hobbies

I have a toddler and spending time with her is my hobby. But other than that I love reading different psychological articles or watching videos about that on YouTube when I have time and I also like handcraftng - I make candles and chunky hand-knotted blankets for friends and family. Reading news from Ukraine is another "hobby", but hopefully its a temporary one, until my country wins.

Iryna's coding training

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
