Ivanna's Story I have always been interested in how websites and mobile apps work. But I was afraid that without a university degree I'd never be able to learn to code. And when the war in Ukraine started and I lost my job, I decided to learn something new and started to explore HTML and CSS. And now I'm here because I want more! I'd like to become a front-end developer or QA engineer.

My main motivation is to improve my professional skillset and start a career in IT. I'm sure that the SheCodes program will help me to become a more marketable employee and provide me with new career opportunities.

I have a bunch of hobbies: reading both fiction and non-fiction, knitting and other DIY activities, sup-boarding and travelling, especially I like hiking in the Carpathian mountains.

Ivanna's coding training

Ivanna has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
