Jabulile's Story I first became interested in coding when I discovered how technology can turn an idea into something real and useful. I started exploring web development and learning how websites and applications are created. This sparked my curiosity and encouraged me to learn more. I later started learning Python, which showed me that coding is not only about writing lines of code, but also about solving problems, being creative and finding different ways to achieve a goal. Although learning can sometimes be challenging, I enjoy the feeling of understanding something that I struggled with before. My journey so far has motivated me to continue developing my skills and explore different areas of technology. I would love to use SheCodes to strengthen my foundation, gain practical experience and become more confident in my abilities.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
