Jade's Story I first became interested in coding while scrolling on TikTok and seeing how with the help of coding a young man with just a matric was able to bring his mother out of the slums and into a house she deserves and I would just like to do the same. And because of that I start deep diving into coding and how to learn it in a money friendly way. Coding provides a world of opportunity and that’s a world id like to open for myself.

With coding skills I’d are able to work on projects that align with my values of helping others and problem solving while building a better life for myself. For me that would be to help others better their lives, I could work on projects that improve access to healthcare or education.

I go to gym, read a combination of romance and self help books, I also enjoy going out to the town and just walking around seeing the city I live in.

Jade's coding training

Jade has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
