Jane's Story My interest in coding began with a strong desire to understand how digital tools and platforms function behind the scenes. As I engaged more with technology in my daily and professional life, I became increasingly curious about the logic and structure that powers the systems we rely on. This curiosity led me to explore basic web development through self-paced tutorials, and I was immediately captivated by the problem-solving and creative aspects of coding. What drew me in was the potential to not only use technology, but to shape it. I saw coding as a valuable skill that could help me streamline processes, build solutions, and contribute meaningfully to the digital transformation happening across all industries. As I delved deeper, I realized how versatile and empowering it is, it equips you to think analytically, solve problems efficiently, and create tangible results from abstract ideas. Since then, I’ve made a conscious decision to pursue coding more seriously, especially through structured programs like SheCodes, which support and mentor women entering the tech space. My goal is to leverage these skills to innovate, collaborate on impactful projects, and grow within the tech industry in a way that aligns with both my personal and professional aspirations.
