Jegede's Story I first became interested in coding because I wanted to learn a skill that could improve my future and create more opportunities for me. As I explored different ways to earn money online and build a stable career, I realized that coding was a valuable skill with many possibilities. The idea of creating websites and understanding how technology works fascinated me, so I decided to start learning web development by studying HTML. Since then, my interest has continued to grow because I see coding as a skill that can help me achieve my personal and professional goals while allowing me to build useful and meaningful projects.

My motivation for learning how to code is to build a better future for myself. I want to gain a valuable skill that will help me earn money online, become financially independent, and achieve the comfortable lifestyle I aspire to have. I am interested in technology, and I want to build a strong foundation in web development by learning HTML first before progressing to other programming languages. Apart from earning money, I believe coding will open up many career opportunities for me. It will also allow me to create websites and explore digital opportunities, even while I am still working toward getting a laptop. Learning how to code is a long-term investment in my future because it will equip me with practical skills that can lead to freelance work, remote jobs, or even building my own projects.

For fun, I enjoy exploring technology and learning new skills, especially coding and web development. I also like reading novels, particularly romance and Christian books, because they help me relax and escape into different stories. Watching movies and animated content is another activity I enjoy, and I am interested in creating digital content, including videos and animations. I also enjoy discovering new online tools and creative platforms that allow me to learn, express my ideas, and develop skills that can be useful in the future. Overall, I like activities that are both entertaining and help me grow personally and professionally.

Jegede's coding training

Jegede has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
