Josephine Wilhamina's Story I became interested in coding when I started watching foreign movies. How the fingers of those who code move about on the keypad is Soo amazing.I also remember my second year, first semester, my class was introduced to computer programming when boosted my interest in coding. Though we didn't really learn into details, the interest to learn is still there.

I want to part of the few woman who know how to code. Also want to break the myth that men are better than women in terms of using the computer and coding.I usually watch movies that requires the cast to write some code in other to unlock doors, build a security system and a whole lot. I always feel amazed by how they do it . I dream of doing that too.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
