Jullianna's Story As a graduating high school student from the Philippines with zero prior experience in coding, my interest in coding was sparked by several factors. First, I have always been fascinated by technology and its impact on our daily lives. I observed how technology has transformed various industries and made tasks more efficient and convenient. This piqued my curiosity about the inner workings of these technologies and how they are created. Secondly, I noticed the increasing demand for digital skills in the job market. Technology-driven careers offer great opportunities and job security, and I wanted to equip myself with relevant skills that would enable me to thrive in the digital age. Coding, being at the heart of technological innovation, seemed like a logical path to explore. Furthermore, I was inspired by the success stories of individuals who had started with little to no coding knowledge and had gone on to achieve remarkable things in the field. Their stories showed me that coding was not limited to a select few with specialized backgrounds but was accessible to anyone willing to learn and put in the effort. Lastly, I was motivated by the prospect of creating something of my own. Coding provides the power to transform ideas into reality, and the ability to build websites, applications, and other digital solutions from scratch fascinated me. The idea of being able to bring my own creative visions to life through coding was a driving force behind my interest.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is rooted in my desire to pursue a digital career and explore the vast opportunities that the field of coding offers. As a graduating high school student from the Philippines, I have witnessed the rapid advancements in technology and the significant role it plays in shaping the world around us. I am intrigued by the endless possibilities that coding presents, from creating innovative applications to solving complex problems. Learning to code with SheCodes would equip me with the essential skills and knowledge required to thrive in the digital era. It would provide me with a solid foundation to pursue various paths, such as web development, software engineering, or data analysis. Moreover, I am drawn to the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of coding. It offers a constantly changing landscape where I can continually learn and grow, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends. This aspect of coding excites me as it ensures that my career would be challenging and intellectually stimulating. I love taking up online classes and courses to expand my knowledge and skills. Whether it's coding, data science, even in business fields such as; digital marketing, e-commerce, dropshipping, I actively seek opportunities to upskill and stay ahead in my field of interest. Online platforms provide a wealth of resources, and I enjoy immersing myself in these educational experiences.

Jullianna's coding training

Jullianna has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
