Kabelo 's Story I’ve always enjoyed learning, even when I didn’t necessarily enjoy my schooling. I liked the feeling of approaching a brand new topic, having no idea where to start, and slowly feeling my way through the confusion until I begin to see improvements and also seeing my high school friend who referred me doing it gave me the push I never knew I needed.

🙋‍♀️ Kabelo 's Motivation

I have always been fascinated by technology and its ability to transform the world we live in because it's now tech driven so my curiosity and eagerness to learn have led me to explore various coding languages and tools using the express classes that is offered by the organization and I have a foundation in HTML and CSS which I learnt in my high school years. What I further wanted is to enhance my skills and provide a better livelihood for my family and child.

🤹‍♀️ Kabelo 's Hobbies

I enjoy being creative, making jokes and being around my friends and family while cooking for them.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
