Kagiso's Story I have been following women in technology on Tick Tok for 3 years now. It always seemed like something I wouldn't be good at. But through the motivation and sharing of information in that platform I have grown to love and be inspired by the field.

🙋‍♀️ Kagiso's Motivation

I have always wanted to further my studies so I can change my life circumstances. The world is moving into the digital age and what better way to advance skills than move with the world trend. I have also learnt that the IT space is mostly occupied by males as supposed to women. I would like to participate in such a move.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
