Kamogelo's Story I fell inlove with coding last year(2025) when I took a chance on the FNB APP Academy at the beginning of the year. That was when I fell like I belong. I did not know what my passion was until I took a turn into the Tech industry. My perspective changed completely. I found myself excited to use the digital world to solve real-life problems. From that moment I have been taking short courses to deepen my coding knowledge and everyday I learn a new code, I get even more motivated too keep learning.

I would love to further my skills in coding as that's the career path I am venturing into. Over the past few months I discovered that I love problem-solving and that's when I recognized that I have potential in this field. Due to my challenging financial background, I got even more motivated to step into the tech industry and give my best. I am a hardworking, committed, dedicated individual and I pay attention to detail. Coding won't only be a life-changing path for me but it will be a way for me to provide a stable future for my 9 year old son as well as my family. I believe SheCodes will provide me with mentorship and an opportunity to gain in-demand skills that will help me transform my life.

Kamogelo's coding training

Kamogelo has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
