Karabelo's Story I first became interested in coding after becoming curious about how websites and applications work behind the scenes. As I explored technology more, I realized that coding is not only about computers but also about creativity and problem-solving. I started learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through the SheCodes Foundation, and I enjoyed seeing how small pieces of code could turn into real projects. Building projects such as a weather app and AI-related applications motivated me to continue learning and improving my skills.

My motivation for learning how to code comes from my curiosity about technology and my desire to build useful and creative solutions. I wanted to gain digital skills that could open more opportunities for me professionally and personally. Through coding, I discovered that I enjoy problem-solving and creating projects that can make everyday tasks easier and more interactive. Learning with SheCodes has helped me build confidence in technology and inspired me to continue growing in the tech field.

In my free time, I enjoy learning new digital skills, exploring technology, and working on small coding projects. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time being creative online. I like activities that allow me to learn, solve problems, and express creativity, which is one of the reasons I enjoy coding and technology.

Karabelo's coding training

Karabelo has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
