Kateryna's Story Coding always seemed vsry interesting to me because of how versitile it is. When I was 12 years old I tried making very simple websites and I was very proud of myself. I also got a bit of practice later in life when I discovered free CS50 course and freecodecamp website where I learnt a bit of HTML and CSS but also in general about how computers work and a bit about the HTML language.

🙋‍♀️ Kateryna's Motivation

In 2021 I was lucky enough to get a chance to participate in a free 7day coding marathon from a Ukrainian IT company where I learnt the mare basics of HTML&CSS. Since then I always wanted to study further and started looking for courses and bootcamps but I was making 200$ a month working as an English tutor and the prices started from 2000$. I found a few free resources like freecodecamp and Harvard's CS50, and would study and complete lessons but I was a bit lost and the progress was taking a long time because I could not really understand a lot of concepts.

I am a big fun of studying languages. Currently I am studying Korean and Polish languages, and I also am learning animation and I love to paint.

Kateryna's coding training

Kateryna has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
