Kateryna's Story I observed several of my friends becoming good coders without any special education and telling me how interesting it is. I always observe trends - that's why my first major several years ago was Chinese language. Although high demand in coding specialists is now rather reality than a trend, I'm still consistent in being among the firsts.

🙋‍♀️ Kateryna's Motivation

I was considering this idea for several months already - to have knowledges applicable in every place and those of a high demand. Coding suits this request perfectly. I'm pretty systemic person and do love logic - so I think that this type of activity will be good for me. My current specialisation - public relations - is very language-depending, so it's difficult to find a job in non Ukrainian language surrounding. I need a new - language-independent - specialisation.

🤹‍♀️ Kateryna's Hobbies

Running - I did 3 full marathons already, traveling, cooking.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
