Katherine's Story My interest in coding initially sparked from my desire to improve my family's life.As I searched for potential career alternatives with this goal in mind, I stumbled upon the field of programming.What fascinated me was that programming offered job opportunities worldwide. I've always liked design and computer science, web development has both components, making it a perfect fit for me.

My desire to join SheCodes comes from my past efforts to learn web development on my own. Although I was excited to gain coding skills, I struggled to create a learning plan by myself. Trying to teach myself web development, without any prior programming knowledge, was quite challenging.

Katherine's coding training

Katherine has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
