Katlego's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how much technology shapes the world around us—from websites and apps to the systems businesses use every day. I was curious about how these things are built and wanted to understand the logic behind them. The idea of being able to create something from scratch using just a computer and my creativity really excited me. Once I started exploring the basics, I discovered that coding challenges my thinking in a fun and rewarding way.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to gain valuable tech skills that will open up new career opportunities for me. I’m passionate about growing in a field that is constantly evolving and full of creativity and innovation. SheCodes offers a supportive and beginner-friendly environment, especially for women, and I’m excited to be part of a community that empowers learners to break into tech. I believe coding will give me the tools to solve real-world problems, build exciting projects, and become more competitive in today’s job market.

I enjoy exploring new technology, learning about coding, and experimenting with web design in my free time. I also like solving logic puzzles and playing strategy games that challenge my mind. Watching tech tutorials and building small digital projects for fun keeps me inspired and helps me grow my skills.

Katlego's coding training

Katlego has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
