Katleho's Story Ever since I was young, I've always been fascinated by technology and the way it can be used to solve problems and improve our lives. I was the kid who was always taking things apart and putting them back together, trying to understand how they worked. That curiosity eventually led me to learn about coding, and I discovered that it was the perfect outlet for my creativity and problem-solving abilities.

🙋‍♀️ Katleho's Motivation

I believe I have two main reasons for wanting to learn to code with SheCodes. On the one hand, my motivation comes from a desire to reduce the gender gap in the tech sector. SheCodes is a fantastic resource for women who want to learn how to code, and I believe it's critical to support groups like these that are working to diversify the tech sector. The advantages of learning to code, however, also inspired me. Coding is a valuable skill that can be used in many different industries, also coding can lead to a variety of career opportunities.

🤹‍♀️ Katleho's Hobbies

Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I'm always looking for new books to explore, and I enjoy discussing books with my friends. My favorite genre is Mystery, and I particularly enjoy authors like Dennis Lehane and Lee Child. I find that reading is a great way to relax and escape from the everyday stresses of life.

Katleho's coding training

Katleho has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
