Kebogile's Story My interest in coding developed through my work in marketing and fundraising, where I’ve seen firsthand how technology enhances outreach and engagement. I became curious about how websites, digital campaigns, and automation tools work behind the scenes, which led me to explore coding. Learning to code will allow me to develop more effective digital strategies, streamline processes, and create innovative solutions for the causes I’m passionate about. I’m excited to gain this skill to expand my impact in both marketing and nonprofit work.

To expand career opportunities and contributing to meaningful projects, to build problem solving skills My motivation for taking a SheCodes course stems from my desire to expand my career opportunities and enhance my problem-solving skills. Coding is a valuable skill across industries, and learning it would allow me to explore new roles while strengthening my ability to think logically and creatively. Additionally, understanding code would give me greater independence in managing digital projects, whether for marketing, fundraising, or education. Most importantly, I am passionate about contributing to meaningful projects, and with coding skills, I could develop innovative solutions to support initiatives such as fundraising platforms and educational tools.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and painting. Reading allows me to explore different perspectives and continuously learn, while writing helps me express my thoughts creatively and improve my communication skills. Painting provides a creative outlet where I can unwind and bring ideas to life visually. These hobbies not only bring me joy but also enhance my ability to think critically, stay imaginative, and engage meaningfully with the world around me.

Kebogile's coding training

Kebogile has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
