Kendi 's Story I first became interested in coding after campus when I saw the beautiful lines of code in VS Code. I was fascinated by how instructions could make things work in a specific sequence. This curiosity deepened when I was introduced to my first programming language, where I could see my ideas come to life through just a few lines of code. Over time, coding became a way for me to build things, solve problems, and challenge myself with new logic puzzles. The endless possibilities of creating something from scratch kept drawing me in, and that’s when I knew this was a field I wanted to explore further.

🙋‍♀️ Kendi 's Motivation

I am motivated by the desire to expand my technical skills supportive environment. SheCodes offers a unique blend of community, creativity, and real-world projects that I find inspiring. The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
