Keneiloe's Story My initial interest in coding sparked from a fascination with technology and innovation. I have always been drawn to creating something new and with the minimal exposure I have had with coding, my interest, passion and curiosity has led me to explore coding further. As I delved deeper into coding, I discovered its problem-solving potential and its role in shaping the digital world. This initial interest has evolved into a need to pursue coding knowledge and skills.

🙋‍♀️ Keneiloe's Motivation

Coding is like solving puzzles and riddles which I have always enjoyed, it allows me to tackle real-world problems with logical and creative solutions. I have a very innovative and creative mindset and coding allows me to blossom by bringing my ideas to life. For black young woman, being in tech is not a popular thing, I would love the opportunity to change that narrative and diverse a male orientated environment. I am driven and motivated to learn how to code and contribute towards potentially changing global challenges such as climate change or healthcare through coding.

🤹‍♀️ Keneiloe's Hobbies

I enjoy going on hikes, outdoor activities and enjoying nature. I also enjoy gaming which has made me extremely competitive. I love doing research on topics, ideas that cross my mind and reading about the latest trends.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
