Khomotso's Story I first became interested in coding when I was looking for UI/UX learnerships. I wanted to learn on the job how to create and design user-friendly websites, but I found that most job postings required basic knowledge of coding in HTML, CSS, and Java. This made me realize that coding was a necessary skill set for my desired career path, and I became interested in learning more about it.

learning how to code with SheCodes is an excellent way to expand my skillset and make myself a more competitive candidate in the UI/UX design industry. With the growing importance of digital technologies, having a solid understanding of coding can be a valuable asset that sets me apart from other candidates. Knowing how to code allows me to create interactive and dynamic interfaces, and it can also help you understand how to work more effectively with developers. By learning how to code, I will gain a deeper appreciation for the technical aspects of UI/UX design and collaborate more effectively with other professionals in the field.

I enjoy Photography, outdoor photography to be specific. also sketching, more on the realism side. I'm enjoying walking around Capetown lately since I'm fairly new here, it gives me a chance to explore

Khomotso's coding training

Khomotso has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
