Lerato's Story I wanted to know how apps are created and I always thought IT is for men only. Creating a digital product in a digital language is definitely game changing. I am fascinated by the language, I'm not sure if I'll understand it but I love a challenge

🙋‍♀️ Lerato's Motivation

It's going to be a positive step towards my career. I am paralyzed so I need to widen my work spec so I can be diverse. In my previous work position I was a financial administrator so I love being at the back office. It gives me satisfaction to know that this report is possible because of what I did.

🤹‍♀️ Lerato's Hobbies

I spent a lot of my time researching issues and spinal cord injury. I enjoy doing research actually

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
