Lethabo's Story I first became interested in coding during my undergraduate studies in Information Science. However, my exposure to coding was limited during my undergraduate studies. While I had a solid theoretical foundation in Information Science, I did not have the opportunity to take dedicated undergraduate programming courses. Despite this limitation, my curiosity and enthusiasm for coding persisted. During this time, I began exploring coding independently, driven by a fascination with its problem-solving potential and the ever-expanding possibilities it offered in technology and innovation. As I delved deeper into the possibilities of coding through self-guided research, I discovered a profound fascination with the intersection of logic, creativity, and technical problem-solving that coding provides. There's a unique sense of satisfaction in crafting code to address complex challenges and seeing it transform into functional applications or websites. Moreover, I became increasingly aware of the pivotal role of coding in our technology-driven world. The versatility of coding skills, applicable across various industries, from web development to data analysis, underscored its significance. I was drawn to the idea of being part of this dynamic and transformative field. My interest in coding has since evolved into a passionate pursuit driven by a desire to empower individuals and communities through accessible and inclusive digital solutions. I genuinely enjoy the technical problem-solving prospect of coding and look forward to further exploring and expanding my skills in this dynamic field.
