Linda's Story I became interested when I saw that the world is becoming more digital and I need to be prepared for the inevitable change that is about to hit the workforce. Also, I recently came across a young lady at the driver’s license office who encouraged me to learn tech skills. I felt motivated and began searching for courses and came across shecodes.

🙋‍♀️ Linda's Motivation

For a few months, I have been thinking of upping my HR skills by adding a tech skill so I can apply for HR analysts roles and have better income as I am thinking of having my own family. I came across a lady on tiktok who did a video on how she learned tech skills via shecodes and after a year she has 4 certifications and a new business. I was inspired.

🤹‍♀️ Linda's Hobbies

I like writing stories/film scripts for fun and would love to go into it professionally.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
