🙋‍♀️ Lomkhosi's Motivation

My motivation for learning to code stems from my desire to advance professionally and remain relevant in a work environment that is changing quickly. Since technology and business are becoming more and more entwined, knowing the technical aspects of things would greatly improve my capacity to lead strategic decisions, collaborate with technical teams more effectively, and provide creative solutions for clients. I can better evaluate projects' viability, optimise workflows, and make a more significant contribution to digital transformation initiatives by learning to code and bridging the gap between business and technology. Coding abilities will also enable me to take advantage of data-driven insights, automate processes, and investigate new prospects in fintech and other tech-driven sectors.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
