Lydiah's Story I first became interested in coding when I noticed how technology could open doors and change lives. I have met a few people who have told me how this skill changed their lives when I asked them for tips on how to change mine and revolutionise my experience with the job market. While I used apps and websites daily, I always wondered how they were built, managed and maintained, this ignited my interest in learning this skill and becoming part of the digital future.

I have always been passionate about technology, but growing up without resources meant no real avenue to learn or practice. Learning to code gives me the chance to finally build skills, create opportunities, and improve my life for the better, I have been unemployed for over a year now and I yearn for an opportunity to improve my life by learning a valuable skill such as coding

Lydiah's coding training

Lydiah has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
