Mahsa's Story day by day, I am hearing and seeing how technology is helping people. As a deaf health founder in Iran, I understood how useful it could be if I knew coding with the aim to make mobile application or any other innovative solutions that can benefit the deaf community. I started to research more about coding and programming and I became more and more excited about the potential it holds to make a real difference in the lives of deaf individuals. This is what led me to seek out resources such as SheCodes to learn how to code and apply my knowledge in deaf education and health.

As a hard of hearing person with a background in deaf health and deaf education, I believe that coding can be a powerful tool for creating innovative solutions that can benefit the deaf community. I have always been fascinated by the possibilities of technology and its ability to improve people's lives. however, I think I do not have a good computer and tech literacy, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges that the deaf community faces, so I am eager to use my knowledge to develop solutions that can help to address these challenges with coding. I am particularly keen on learning how to code with SheCodes foundations because I believe that your program can provide me with the skills and knowledge that I need to create meaningful solutions. I really appreciate that you make the course free for Iranian women.

Mahsa's coding training

Mahsa has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
