s a woman with a degree in Laboratory Science, I have long dreamed of learning to code — and SheCodes stands out to me because it does more than teach technology; it empowers women. Being part of a community that truly understands what it feels like to be underestimated or overlooked in tech means everything to me. Growing up, I was often surrounded by the narrative that tech is "for men," and I want to be living proof that it is not. Beyond passion, I have a deeply personal reason. As the firstborn in a low-income family, I carry a responsibility I embrace wholeheartedly. Web development excites me because it opens doors globally — I can apply for opportunities anywhere in the world. That kind of freedom is life-changing, not just for me but for my family. I already have some basic coding knowledge, but I lack the confidence and structure to go further alone. SheCodes feels like exactly the right place to change that. I believe this is the right platform, the right community, and the right moment to turn my dream into a career.
