Marina's Story As a PR manager, I organized a lot of tech talks and events for programmers in Ukraine, and I was interested in how people do it. 2 years ago I started creating digital art, once I was helping my friend to make illustrations for a fintech app, and I saw a girl taking my illustrations and animating them, inserting them into the website and doing other magic. I don't know how to do that, but i would like to learn how to do it!

🙋‍♀️ Marina's Motivation

All Ukrainians are going through a phase of big changes in their lives! I lost my home, my job, my usual life, I want to learn how to do something new, how to earn money to support my family and my country during the war. I want to become useful to my people, support the country's economy and help those who need my help. I want to start by helping myself gain new experiences and knowledge, to try to realize myself in an industry that is new to me.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
