My motivation to learn code with SheCodes is that because of the war in my country it became necessary for me to gain new online profession. My hometown is under occupation now. My children and I were forced to flee to another city. I've been thinking of learning IT for a long time, and my friends told me that there's opportunity to study at SheCodes.

I love spending time with my family. Before the war, we loved walking in the park, rollerblading, biking, traveling. Before pregnancy, I loved to play sports and to visit the gym. I also love to do massage. It brings pleasure and benefit to people and I like it. I hope we will be able to return to our former happy life. And now our attention is focused on learning how to live in a new reality and take care of children.

Marriya's coding training

Marriya has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
