Martha's Story I saw a friend creating applications, websites and graphic design in his spare time and I wanted to be able to make something I want instead of waiting on someone to do it for me. I would like to be able to work remotely.

🙋‍♀️ Martha's Motivation

I would like to be able to create my own projects and enhance my coding skills and become a skilled software developer. This will also make me an attractive candidate during my search for employment as most of the companies are actually looking for people who know their way around programming.

🤹‍♀️ Martha's Hobbies

I love to read, write and play netball. I also watch tv shows and listen to podcasts here and there.

🎯

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
