Marwa's Story I first became interested in coding when I started learning about technology and digital skills online. I realized that coding is an important skill for the future and it allows people to create websites, apps, and many useful tools. This made me curious to learn how it works. I also became more interested when I started studying graphic design and technology. I understood that coding and design are connected, and learning both can help me build creative and useful projects. Since I want to study computer science in the future, learning coding feels like a very important step for me.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to gain new digital skills and build a better future for myself. I am very interested in technology and I want to study computer science in university one day. Learning coding will help me understand how websites and applications are created. Also, as a young woman from Afghanistan, opportunities for education and work are limited. Coding gives me a chance to learn online and possibly work remotely in the future. I hope that by learning with SheCodes, I can improve my skills, become a professional in tech, and support my family and community.

🤹‍♀️ Marwa's Hobbies

Some of my hobbies are learning new things online, practicing graphic design, and improving my language skills. I enjoy exploring creative tools and making simple designs. I also like reading and watching educational videos to learn more about technology. For fun, I sometimes ride my bicycle, spend time with my family, and practice English and French. Learning new skills makes me happy because it helps me grow and prepare for my future.

Marwa's coding training

Marwa has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
