Mary's Story Got a job as a sales representative at a startup tech company and I was intrigued and amazed about the creativity in website & mobile application development to solving community challenges using technology.

🙋‍♀️ Mary's Motivation

The world is currently facing challenges from environmental damage to food shortages, inequalities in access to healthcare and education, and the ever growing misinformation and propaganda. As an advocate who wants to see the world a better place, I see this as an opportunity to improve my innovative skills, develop skills in technology that I can use to solve some of the most pressing issues. Currently the world is on a digital transformation and technology is being used to solve problems. As a young lady this will help me to break the gender barriers and also empower fellow young ladies to take up tech careers. Refined Response; Seizing global challenges for personal growth, I aim to harness tech innovation in solving urgent issues, bridging gender gaps, and empowering young women.

Mary's coding training

Mary has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
