Maryam's Story I have been interested in coding since my university days cause I was studying Computer Engineering. Those days, I learned a bit of some programming languages. After that, I was fascinated by coding, but at the same time, I found it challenging. Thus, I never used coding professionally. I’ve tried to keep it alive in my heart, and I think it’s never too late when you love something. So, today I want to gain more knowledge by diving deep into coding.

Coding is an integral part of our daily lives and can see everywhere. I believe learning how to code will help us to change our lives and will get us access to new horizons. Furthermore, with the development of technology, I realized that coding is a great career to pursue. There are many IT jobs with high salaries and suitable working environments worldwide. It is also an opportunity to work remotely and to be financially independent. Thus, learning how to code can bring a better world to me. Recently, I saw a post on Instagram that said how SheCodes is trying to help and empower the women residing in Iran and decided to fill out this application. I hope I will get the chance to learn how to code with you. I also visited your website to find more information and saw great feedback from participants worldwide. Therefore, I am more convinced that if I have an opportunity to be a part of your program, it will be a great event that can change my life. I love to do yoga, and it is my favorite hobby. I love going to the movies, listening to music, reading books, especially novels, and cooking. I am also keen on drawing, and when I have free time, I watch educational videos on YouTube.

Maryam's coding training

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
