Masabata 's Story My interest in coding was sparked by my best friend Hlonie, who shared his work as a program developer with me. Seeing his projects and witnessing the creative possibilities of coding inspired me to want to learn this exciting new skill for myself. This initial exposure ignited my curiosity and motivated me to explore coding further, eventually leading me to want to pursue education and training in the field through platforms like SheCodes.

Additionally, as an aspiring woman in tech, I want to play a crucial role in promoting diversity and inclusion in the industry, paving the way for future generations of aspiring female technologists in South Africa and beyond.

From learning new skills, which aligns perfectly with wantimg to pursue coding at SheCodes, to indulging in the culinary arts through baking and cooking.I have a knack for creativity and exploration. Additionally, I love reading which I trust suggests a curious and intellectual mindset, while taking walks indicates a desire for relaxation and connection with nature. These hobbies not only enrich my life but also contribute to a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle.

Masabata 's coding training

Masabata has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
