Maty's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how powerful technology is in solving real-world problems. While exploring cybersecurity and digital platforms, I became curious about how websites and applications are built. I wanted to understand what happens behind the screen. The more I learned, the more I became fascinated by the logic and creativity involved in programming.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to gain structured, practical skills that will allow me to build real projects and eventually work as a web developer. I want to become financially independent and create opportunities for myself, especially in the tech industry, which is growing rapidly worldwide.

In my free time, I enjoy activities that help me grow both creatively and intellectually. I love reading about technology and cybersecurity, and I also practice voice-over recording and transcription. For fun, I enjoy knitting, learning new languages, and working out regularly. Staying active helps me stay disciplined and focused. I also like exploring online learning platforms to improve my skills and challenge myself.

Maty's coding training

Maty has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
