Mfonobong 's Story I became interested after hearing about the career opportunities in the tech field. It sounded so exciting since I love exploring and challenging myself with new ideas. During my National Youth Service Corps, I started learning SQL but I was unable to complete it due to lack of funds for my training and access to a laptop. Few years after, my passion for tech has even become stronger and I am more interested in starting and successfully completing it now.

🙋‍♀️ Mfonobong 's Motivation

I have always been enthusiastic about tech, from trying to imagine how applications and websites are built, to trying to understand how products are designed. But I couldn't afford the money to pay for this education. As a stay at home mom and wife, with 3 kids all female. I want to develop my professional skills, start a career in tech, work towards financial freedom to make better choices for myself and also educate the young women in my community about the opportunities in tech field.

🤹‍♀️ Mfonobong 's Hobbies

I love learning, exploring new ideas, cooking, singing when I'm bored, dancing and exercising.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
