Milana's Story I've always been interested in coding and started learning HTML, CSS and JS just one month before the war started. I believe it is really interesting to be able to write codes and see things change instantly on the site, I watched my friends do it and decided this is what I would also like to do in life.

🙋‍♀️ Milana's Motivation

SheCodes is a huge opportunity to learn how to code with the gathered info from people who already know how to do it properly and who can also teach me how to do it. My motivation is to be able to create beautiful sites with no glitches and good functionality, hopefully, to volunteer to develop sites for charitable organizations, as I now understand the lack of people who is able to help.

🤹‍♀️ Milana's Hobbies

I like hanging out with my friends and wandering around the city. Now, with all the things going on in my country - I mostly stay at home and watch TV shows after work.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
