Minerva's Story My parents signed me up for a class when I was 9 and I've been kicking myself since for not continuing with it. As a kid, I grew up in the US because my dad had received a scholarship, but our financial situation limited some of my chances at leveraging opportunities. Having returned to Indonesia, this improved but the opportunities were now limited and the language barrier was an issue for me as well. The idea of being able to know and understand the inner workings of tech that we use every day continued to intrigue me, however. I'm interested in being able to create something as well.

🙋‍♀️ Minerva's Motivation

I'd like to learn new skills and potentially improve my employability. In an increasingly digital world, it's important to be tech savvy. More than that, though, I'd like to explore my potential and see if I have what it takes to branch out in a different field.

🤹‍♀️ Minerva's Hobbies

I enjoy getting together and chatting with friends who are both well traveled and well-read. My hobbies include reading and pottery.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
